Oh yeah, it also replaces the Logitech keyboard folio, which had key caps break off. Yes I’ve spent some dollars on keyboard cases, and no I do NOT abuse them.So far I’m impressed. Construction is excellent. The base is 2 pieces of aluminum, screwed together. The top is also aluminum, lined with ABS plastic. The hinge feels solid and smooth. MUCH more substantial than both my ZAGG units. It’s heavier, but it’s just MUCH better made.A row of (4) green LEDs blinks as it charges, showing progress in 25% increments — very useful. The rightmost LED shows blue to indicate Bluetooth discovery mode. The left side has the micro-USB charging port and power on/off switch; the right side has a USB port which can be used to charge your phone from the keyboard battery. Not sure I’ll ever use it for charging, but it’s there nonetheless.After charging, it paired with my iPad painlessly. I’m using it to type this review. The keys feel similar to my MacBook Pro, and are backlit. Haven’t played with colors or brightness yet.
