I was pleasantly surprised by how well this worked. She has blonde hair, and it worked well on that. I have light brown hair and it worked well on mine. Grandma has grey hair, and it worked well on that too!This was easy enough for my daughter to use on her own (on my hair). It's basically just coloring, though you may have to go over the same spot a few times. It's not super vibrant bright color, but it's absolutely color that you can see!This is such a fun gift. She went back to it several times already.
