Price and feel. They remind me of cards you can print on your own printer, by downloading designs on the internet and using slightly heavier paper, like a light weight cardstock. And the envelopes are thin too. However, they are a good price for the quality, especially compared to getting just 10 cards in a thank you notes box at Target for $7 etc. They convey the message and that is the point! I wouldn't use these for a fancy wedding, but if you had a DIY wedding they kind of fit well with that. I bought them to have some general thank you cards ready for use. They are flat, not already folded but do have a crease so folding is not a problem.
