Review: A Must Have Item for the Pool - My daughter has just learned how to swim thanks to these nose plugs! Using these plugs has freed up both of her arms for swimming and she is flourishing! She loves that there are multiple colors to choose from and likes to match her bathing suit and nose plug. The plugs will slip if you have sunscreen on your nose, we've figured out that we have to wipe her nose off first before using the plugs and then she's good to go. Great price. Highly recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you keep them from slidding off? I tried it on my 6 yr old 8 yr old, and myself.  They don't stay on for 15 seconds**
A: We were not wonderfully successful in getting them to stay on well.  My 5 yo grand daughter washed her nose with soap and water (to make sure we had all skin oils removed) first, made sure her skin was very dry before applying them, and tried to have her not touch them once they were on.  We did, ultimately go to the old school pink latex nose clips on a latex ‘string’ that worked MUCH better.  These are sold in a 10 pack on Amazon as well and each comes in a nice plastic case.

**Q: will these work on a 5 year old?**
A: Depends on the 5 year old’s size. My impression is nose plugs are for 7 years plus … and my conviction is that it’s best to allow children to learn to swim nose plug free. But bought these for grandchildren, so my convictions don’t hold sway 😉
