Took the tumbler to work and made green tea in it. I took a sip, this got busy doing work stuff, so when I remembered I had made tea, I picked up the tumblers and to my absolute amazement my tea was still hot, and I do mean hot not just warm 2 hours later. I decided to just keep the tea in the tumbler and take a small sip every now and them, after 4 hours my tea it was still very warm, and after 6 hours, still warm. I was pleasantly surprised, and now I use the tumbler every day when I have tea at work. I did notice that with the lid off, the drink does cool off a bit quicker, so if you want to maintain a hot beverage for several hours, keep the lid on. It feels good to hold. It keeps my coffee hot for as long as I need it to. It holds an appropriate (for me) amount of coffee. It fits in my car's cup holder. The only minor quibbles are that there is a seam inside the tumbler, which I'm concerned might be hard to keep clean, and the lip is a little thicker than I would prefer. Over all, I've never found a portable coffee tumbler I like better. Note that it is NOT spill-proof. That didn't affect my review, I knew it wasn't when I purchased it, and I don't need it to be, but it might matter to someone else. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where has this tumbler been all my life! *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 14, 2016* I have been using this tumbler almost non-stop since I bought it. I've gone through so many tea mugs, thermos bottles, tumblers over the years. With most, I'd use them fairly frequently at the start then would steadily get annoyed by the aftertaste they conferred to the drink or the difficulty drinking from them when they were very hot or difficulty cleaning them etc. Not this one! No after taste, easy to sip from even when super hot, keeps my drink perfectly warm for hours if I leave it, super easy to clean. Perhaps the only negative is that it never fully closes and has the potential to spill some if very full and getting jarred in the car due to potholes. This is not a big deal for me and honestly outweighs the pain of needing to pull back or unscrew a lid closure. The materials are high quality and it's the perfect size for my tea drinking habits.
