Review: Great replacement better than original - This is beautifully made. The seat is pretty and has been varnished so that is very smooth and stays clean. This was a replacement for an original one that was exactly the same, installed 12 years ago. The contractor never caulked around it so the screws into the wall corroded and the seat had to be broken off from the wall to be replaced. This replacement fit the set up exactly the same as the original. But this one is actually made better than the last one. This is one case or a product was actually improved rather than dummy down.

This is beautifully made. The seat is pretty and has been varnished so that is very smooth and stays clean. This was a replacement for an original one that was exactly the same, installed 12 years ago. The contractor never caulked around it so the screws into the wall corroded and the seat had to be broken off from the wall to be replaced. This replacement fit the set up exactly the same as the original. But this one is actually made better than the last one. This is one case or a product was actually improved rather than dummy down.
