I am very happy with this product, especially for the price. There are a few things you need to know before you use this though. The first thing is that the layout is European. The holes are pre-drilled at 17.5", not 16". I placed blocking in between the studs when I was doing the framing, so I would be sure to have solid backing. If you do not plan to be disturbing the drywall, you will need to attach a 1 x 4 or 1 x 6 on top of the drywall. This will also cause the door to hang out from the wall an additional 3/4". I attached the brackets directly on top of the drywall and it allowed just enough room to run a piece of base along the floor behind the door.Also, if you have to cut the track, you will need a good metal chop saw. A grinder will do in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend it. It is hard steel. I installed four sets of this track and I cut all of them because I didn't have the wall space to run them the full length. The powder coating may blister a little right next to the cut. I used a spray bottle of water while I was cutting and this helped a lot. Continuously spray water right on the cut so it keeps the temp down. I also had to drill a different hole at one point because of a plumbing vent that prevented me from installing blocking. As long as you have a quality, sharp, metal bit, you won't have any problems.If you are doing new construction or a remodel, I would make the rough opening the same size of the actual door you are installing. I wrapped the inside of the door jambs with drywall and it left just the right amount of space. These doors do not fit "tight" to the wall, so there will be visible light around the edges. I made a separate room just for the toilet. I used a 2-0 door slab and made the rough opening 24". This works well, but again, be aware that there is a 1/2" gap between the door and the wall.I am very happy with this kit and it is a quality product. I installed them 3 months ago and have had no complaints. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall good product, nice hardware...kind of *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2016* 5 stars for the price and quality of the product. The directions for installation are slightly cryptic but any DIYer can figure it out. Like most of the reviews, I had trouble with clearance from the door trim. I went to the local hardware store and bought longer lag screws, and some extra nuts/ washers to give the extra 1/2" extension I was looking for. I just need to touch up the stainless steel with some black paint. I was contemplating putting up a 1x4 and attaching the bar to it, but decided against it because this method makes it look much cleaner. It's holding up nice and strong with no problems! ### ⭐⭐ Very disappointed. It appears it had been opened and returned by another buyer and then sent to me without checking it. Very disappointed. I will now need to shop around the various hardware stores in search of these two vital pieces only OR I will need to repurchase the entire set again.
