We have a very long hallway so if it stayed reliably at about 20' we could use it in the house** A: I wouldn't use in the house. It propels with significant force. **Q: Is this an automatic launcher or do you have to refill by hand each time ? If so, how many balls will it launch without you reloading?** A: One ball at a time - you need to reload with a tennis ball after each launch. **Q: I don't see anywhere how this is powered, i.e. Batteries, electric, spring loaded, etc?** A: Spring Loaded... you put the ball in and pull the ball back into the gun, then press the trigger and it launches ball, my puppy loves it when he can find the ball. Goes pretty far. She will grow into it tho! **Q: Can you adjust the distance** A: Yes you can. The little knob on the back adjusts the tension. Thanks for asking! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars works good *by S***X on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2017* we have an Australian shepherd who LOVES playing ball. so much that my arm gets sore. i have a flinger/thrower that i really like but that also wears me out. we bought the ball launcher and have had a blast with it. the ball goes pretty far and i'm teaching the dog to put the ball back into the machine so i dont have to tough the slobbery ball. have used this now for a few months. i can sit in my porch chair and launch the ball. we use regular tennis balls (cheap ones) so you don't have to use their balls. i found it easier to cock it before the ball goes in - also keeping EVERY day and love it. we found the smaller size tennis balls go way farther and that is more fun for us and the dog. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Not helpful at all. *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2017* This is such a disappointment. If I had not been out of town for a long time I would have returned it right away. It hardly goes any distance even when I tighten it as tight as I can. I have dogs that love to cache balls and I am not able to fling it because of recent surgery.I have a feeling that my ball launcher is not functioning correctly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Launcher review *by G*** on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2016* The first one fell apart but Sievers was quick to get back to me and replace the defective launcher. I am still working on learning how to adjust the distance but my dog is loving it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/30248578-dog-ball-launcher-launches-tennis-balls-and-mini-frisbee-discs](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/30248578-dog-ball-launcher-launches-tennis-balls-and-mini-frisbee-discs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
