The burner that came with it was not very good and used a huge amount of gas and struggled to get the temp hot enough to melt copper. Once I lit this burner I knew it would be much better. Uses less propane than before and gets the furnace hotter faster. It does take a little work to set the airflow right but it's worth the trouble.
