**Q: Do these beads keep their colour and shine with friction and usage?**
A: Duracoat is a very good coating but I always put my metallic glass beads in a zip lock bag and spray Krylon clear coat into the bag.  I mix them on the outside with my fingers and pour them onto tinfoil to dry.  They dry very quickly.  This gives them an extra layer of protection.  Some beads stick together but they are easy to separate as you use them.
