## Overview

Winsor & Newton Refined Linseed Oil (75ml) is a pale, alkali refined oil designed to slow the drying time of oil paints to approximately 120 hours. Its low viscosity improves paint flow and reduces color consistency, while enhancing gloss and transparency. ## Description

Winsor & Newton Drying Oils are made with the same vegetable oils used to formulate the oil colours, namely, linseed, safflower & poppy. Drying Oils are used to modify the consistency & drying time of oil paints in much the same way as prepared mediums. The different processing methods of these oils results in a range of drying rates, consistencies & colours.Winsor & Newton Refined Linseed Oil is their most popular oil. It is a low viscosity alkali refined oil of pale colour that dries slowly. Refined Linseed Oil reduces the consistency of oil colours. It is more fluid than unrefined oils & helps increase gloss, transparency & flow of colours. Refined Linseed oil slows the drying of oil colours and is slower-drying than cold pressed Linseed.

Review: This is NOT a lid!! - Cap instructions unclear! Cats tail is stuck in the ceiling fan! No but for real, I have never spent that much time trying to open a cap! I forced the black piece off of the cap with my fingers after ripping my hands open trying to unscrew it and then tore the plastic cap apart with a flat head screw driver. Finally after like 30 minutes I got the cap to pop off! Now I need a new lid😂😂 other than the cap, the product itself is great!

**Q: how do I open Stand oil lid**
A: Hi Jen,Unfortunately federal government regulations require manufacturers to use these child proof and in some cases, myself included adult proof lids. There should be instructions on the lid to press down while turning the lid. If not, just follow those instructions. Mike

**Q: Is this lid the same as the liquin lid? It's hard to open but I can get it open at least. Some reviewers talked about nutcrackers and screwdrivers!**
A: I used a slot screwdriver as a lever, which works well.

**Q: What would the drying time be with this product?**
A: Liquin speeds drying (cure) time by about 25%; however the paint still controls drying time (cure) time, e.g. phthalos take longer than others.

Cap instructions unclear! Cats tail is stuck in the ceiling fan! No but for real, I have never spent that much time trying to open a cap! I forced the black piece off of the cap with my fingers after ripping my hands open trying to unscrew it and then tore the plastic cap apart with a flat head screw driver. Finally after like 30 minutes I got the cap to pop off! Now I need a new lid😂😂 other than the cap, the product itself is great!
