The first one lasted about 15 years before it gave up the ghost. My late mother gave it to me, and it was the best gift I ever received in my life.It only holds a single bath towel (but since I only use one at a time, that works well). Some other reviewers have complained that it doesn't heat the towel enough. I'd agree that if you start it just before you get into the shower, you probably won't find your towel warm enough.But since my routine is to get up, press the switch to start it, then do about ten or fifteen minutes of other things I do first thing in the morning like weighing myself, starting my morning tea, and making my bed, it's ready to be pressed again just as I'm ready to get into the shower. When I do that, the towel is absolutely toasty by the time I get out of the shower.To say I love this device would be a massive understatement! The Jerdon towel warmer works so well in my massage room, as the counter space is limited and this warmer takes up very little space. The towels are heated in about 10 minutes and will keep extras ready and warm when I need them. If using hand towels, the warmer will hold several at a time. This product cools relatively fast so that it's safe to leave it after a session.
