Review: Effective Oil for Dry Aging Skin - I purchased this oil to create customized facial oil for friends and family as Christmas gifts - although I will certainly have to make a bottle for myself as well (I have included a recipe below). I recently read an article about the benefits of carrot seed oil for dry, mature skin and thought I would give this a go since my friends and I aren't getting any younger. The ingredients state it has carrot seed extract, jojoba oil, and tocopherols (Vitamin E) - all good for the skin. I did read that you only need a couple of drops as this stuff is pretty potent - so a great value as I can make several bottles of facial oil from this. I did not notice Canola oil in the active ingredients of my product. Dry Skin Facial Oil 2 tbsp Argan Oil - I also used Avocado oil as both are great base oils for dry, aging skin 1 tbsp Emu Oil - also known to be good for dry, aging skin as it is protective and nourishing 2 drops Carrot Seed Oil 1 tsp Hyaluronic acid I mix all of these in a sterile container and transfer into a dark dropper bottle. I do recommend this product as I have found it to be very beneficial to my skin and have not noticed breakouts (typical with placing a canola oil on your face).

**Q: What is the carrier oil in this bottle? It says Jojoba oil, but people have said the bottle they received said canola oil.**
A: I am glad that you asked, because your question made me look throughly at my bottle and the front of the bottle says, that it is Carrot Seed Oil.  100% natural cold pressed.  On the side of the bottle it has canola and vitamin E oil, as the ingredient; and it is not FDA evaluated.

**Q: Is this product cruelty-free?**
A: I have good reason to believe that carrots feel no pain... so it just follows that this is a cruelty-free product. It's great! Enjoy your product with no guilt!

**Q: Can this be used for spf in lip balms? Do you have a recipe?**
A: Yes, try it out.Carrot Lip Gloss Recipe:*5-7 drops of Carrot Seed Oil *1/2 tsp. coconut oil *1 tsp. petroleum jelly  Directions:Combine the ingredients in a small glass bowl until well mixed. Heat for about 2 minutes in the microwave. Stir and pour into a small container. Let cool completely before use.Good luck !
