This is one of my FAVORITE items to give as a gift.  I met the creators of CordCruncher at Celebrity Connected - a gifting suite for red carpet events.  After "testing" my gift from them - I knew I had the perfect item to give to so many on my list.  For my friends who love to travel - check!  For relatives who seem to have everything - check!  Truly - that great a set of ear buds with microphone!Side note- light - so doesn't cost a ton to ship.Photo is at Celebrity Connected of the developer of tCordCruncher - demonstrating how ho use...and I took the picture.

If you are using a cord, this is a great concept, but in the 4th month of use it started sending the play/pause signal to the phone repeatedly, making playback at first aggravating, and then impossible. Still, I will try buying one more, hoping this experience proves an outlier.

Don't waste your money. I returned them. The plug was too big too fit my iPhone. They don't slide well either
