After several tries with hot glue, epoxy, "high bonding" tape, nothing worked, no matter how well I prepped the surface. Someone in the reviews here said these would work. Glad I tried them! They fit in place of the WeatherTech attachment buttons on the mats themselves. The pin section slides under the vinyl floor of the truck. Fits perfectly inside the little depression in the floor. The floor mats now stay in place perfectly. Pin stabbed opposite direction of where you don’t want them sliding?** A: The pin goes in to the carpet so the mat doesn't slide forward.
