The sections screw together compered uo most other manufacturers that slide together, & it works oerfectly as long as you hang both sides equally, otherwise it’ll tilt to the weighted side which does seem to Hold pretty good, but why push it, it has an excellent clamp & even comes with spike that screws in if you feel outdoorsy, nice repurpose as it’s mainly used for lamps,

I use this stand clamped to my work table to hold 2 rototy tools each driving flex shafts so the Totoro tool need to Be hung. I tried this for my last camping trip and it worked fine. The clamp was not wide enough for my table so we anchored it into the ground. The pole is lightweight which is good and bad. Easy to transport and compact but that also makes it somewhat flimsy so hard to push it with too much force. I felt like it could be pulled out fairly easily. Overall, I will still use it and it is very handy but probably not purchase another one.
