I measured them, and they were barely 26" square. I need not have worried, they worked out fine, and appear to be very good quality. They were just what I needed, and my new feather pillows fitted inside nicely. I feel assured that the feathers will not poke out. I'm very pleased with my purchase. They look nice in the covers and are comfortable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually stops the feathers!! *by D***N on Reviewed in Canada on 22 August 2021* I have 2 very expensive feather pillows that we couldn’t use because of the feathers coming through the so called ticking! You’d think that a pillow priced over 100$ would keep its feathers inside but not so much!! (Thankfully they were given to me and brand new to boot!). So I decided to try this case despite thinking it’s a bit pricey given you only get one. Am I glad I did!!! Works like a charm. Once we culled the pillow of any more knife feathers sticking straight out, we put the case in one and tried it for a while to test it and then ordered a second!! Now we can actually use our pillows without fear of needing a trip to emerg for being stabbed by a feather! They aren’t noisy like this Type of case often is and fit perfectly. We put the ‘fancy’ case back on top and you can’t even tell that there’s an extra layer of material inside!
