All possible boolean combinations were made for you. All you have to do is patch a square wave or clock into A, and another one into B. Then just try out all the flavors and patch an output into a sequencer for example to see the clock timing become interesting. There are far more uses for this also. There is also inverted logic for each A and B output. This module is using CD4000 logic IC chips to do it's magic. At the time, all I had was a fairly basic clock sources. Feeding two of those inputs into this module allows you to pull from a variety of logic-based (And/or/etc.) gate outputs to mix things up a bit. I use mine for drum triggering or from advancing my sequencer in peculiar increments. It functions well and I've had no issues with it at all. It's also really helpful to visualize in real time what the operations are doing through the various LEDs, and I love having the input-inverted outputs. Makes it easy to use also a simple gate inverter which has come in handy using with my Korg MS-20 trigger input or output which is S-trig (inverted from V-trig which is the more common Eurorack standard).
