If your countertop is already installed, please see our collection of "Corbels for Pre-Installed Countertops." * CORBEL CONSTRUCTION. The corbel's "L" joint is glued and screwed with two #10 X 1 1/2" long wood screws. The corbel's "L" portion is 3/4" thick X 2" wide. The corbel's mounting plate is 3/4" thick X 2 1/2" wide. The corbel's brace is assembled with two #10 X 1 1/2" long wood screws also. Our straight and concave braces are 3/4" thick X 1 1/2" wide, except for the Model 17's braces, which are 1 3/4" wide. Our cove braces are 7/8" thick when viewed from the side and are 1 5/8" when viewed from the front. ## Features - Sold individually. They arrived quickly in perfect shape. Simple yet beautiful piece of woodworking. The maple also takes stain very well so I was able to perfectly match our existing cabinetry. By mounting the bases on the counter before the new countertop arrived, I was able to be ready for the big moment. The installers removed the old laminate, set the new countertop just to the side, and I slipped the corbels onto the brackets.
