We also added skirting boards after, which kept everything in place. However butting up to existing floorboards should work. Very good value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal for my purpose *by W***Y on 20 October 2020* I bought these XPS boards to insulate a Garador 3C up and over garage door. The gap between the door skin and the cross bracing was exactly 10mm so these boards were a good interference fit. With a new Stanley Knife blade, they cut easily and I found that a score line was enough, as they would the reliably break along the score. It's made an immediate 3⁰C difference in the temperature of the garage, which will improve further once I've fitted the top and bottom draught excluder.
