That is, I've run the mower several hours since installing it, and the oil still looks good and the engine hasn't seized up yet (well, not from this, at least -- lol), so I figure it's doing it's thing. Seriously, the engine actually did seize up after installing this oil filter, but that was due to the inertial starter motor engaging during engine operation and grinding against the flywheel. I had to remove the starter to get the flywheel unstuck. But that's another story... Yeah, this oil filter is AWESOME by comparison to that old starter. Definitely five stars.
