The tops are made of velour and the bottom is a soft but durable fabric. They are marked as XL and my foot is a mans size 10 so with the gauze bandage and shoe on overall I guess it would come to a size 11. These fit over the shoe with ease but with anything over a shoe size 11 I'd be looking to see if they made a XXL cover or risk tearing the cover.Even without a medical shoe these are ideal foot warmers to sleep in. As the description say's they are washable so for 11 dollars you can't go wrong.
