## Description

Brand new and unused.

Review: Good quality, excellent value. Worked great with a widescreen gaming monitor. - I used this wall mount with my new Acer Predator 34-inch Curved UltraWide QHD (3440 x 1440) NVIDIA G-Sync Widescreen Display (X34 bmiphz) , which is a very wide computer monitor, though it does not exceed the weight restrictions of this mount. The installation went very well. I first mounted the arm to the wall. I used a stud finder and drilled pilot holes first. Surprisingly, I found there was a small gap between the drywall and the wood stud, but the included screws were still long enough to get a good bite into the stud. I tightened the joints using the included allen wrench. Then I mounted the monitor (which comes with a special bracket for VESA mounts) to the arm. I was worried that the weight and size might be too much for this little arm, but after testing the movement of the monitor on this arm, I became much more confident that it was secure. I did need to tighten the "up-down" monitor rotation as hard as I could to keep the monitor from tilting downward due to its own weight. One quick tip that some people have mentioned: the arm does not allow any clockwise screen rotation, and even though the arm was mounted to the wall perfectly level, the monitor itself was not level. This is very noticeable on a wide monitor, too. The mount's lower screw hole does allow some wiggle room for adjustment, but here's what I did: I experimented by moving the arm around and found was that if I bent the arm joint in the opposite direction, my monitor became perfectly level. This wasn't a big deal for me, since my monitor is facing perfectly forward from the wall. Problem solved! Now my gaming monitor floats above my desk and I have room below it for speakers and various other peripherals. Very satisfied!
Review: Pretty Great - I got this for my 20" LCD that was collecting dust sitting with my Guest PC. I re-purposed it a few weeks ago as my secondary monitor but my PC setup is pretty specific to what I have so the extra monitor wasn't at an optimal place. The idea came to me to mount the LCD on my wall but I hadn't found any mounting brackets that were right - most were too big, too heavy, lay flat on the wall or were overly expensive for what they were. Lo and behold (THANK YOU desertcart), I found this one which is so perfect. At first I though it was going to be some bendy garbage but I read the reviews and took the chance. I am a happy camper. I unfortunately had no drill bits nor a real drill and was too excited to wait till the next day to buy them, so I mounted the arm right to the wall with the screws that came with it. It's been a week and a bit and it hasn't fallen off yet (I did manage to find the stud in the wall). The monitor is pretty light and the arm, while sturdy is pretty light as well. I have no doubt that had I not found the stud in the wall that the pairing would rip a hole in there but as it is it seems to be alright for the time being. Putting it together was cake. I made sure to put the screen on the arm before I put it on the wall; this in itself was very easy too. I also made sure I put some markings on the wall so it would level after I put the mount up. That being said, the arm is absolutely great. It articulates side to side and I can angle the monitor perfectly either flush beside my main screen or at an angle beside it. I can tilt the screen up or down too and side to side. It basically moves in every way I want/need it to so I'm a happy camper, so happy in fact that I'm considering getting one for my main screen which is 24 inches and for the TV in our guest room. Pros: Seems pretty sturdy and well built. Articulates very nicely. Angles up or down, can be almost flush to the wall and can be flush alongside another screen. Price is awesome. Arm can be loosened or tightened to customers liking. Cons: None (Yet?).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice, inexpensive monitor mounts--but buy some better screws
*by M***E on October 5, 2011*

I was looking for some monitor mounts to install two computer monitors on my wall. One is 22 inches, and the other is 27 inches. I ordered these, because they were under $20, and most monitor mounts are much more expensive. I don't need anything fancy, just something to screw to the wall to keep my monitor in place, and which is somewhat adjustable. These work fine, but installation is a little tough. They mount vertically on a single stud. In theory this should be easy. But when I tried to screw mine in, the screw heads stripped in my drill really fast. I had to manually remove the half-in screws with a pair of pliers. I bought some higher quality screws and tried again, and it worked just fine. After the mounts were up, I removed the monitor stand and matched the holes to the holes in the mount. Unless you are really strong and patient, this might be easier done with two people, one to hold the monitor and one to do the screwing. Once installed, they swivel, rotate and move just fine. You might need to adjust the firmness of the joint screws with the provided tool; otherwise the monitors will settle downward. All in all, I am very happy because these are very inexpensive, they do the job just fine, and they removed some of the clutter from my desk. But I sure with they didn't include such flimsy wall screws. Update: five months later, they are still working just fine. Every now and then, I have to tighten the screws that allow for swiveling, or else the monitors start to point slowly downward. But for the price and the use I've already gotten out of them, these were well worth it, and the minor adjustments are not a big deal.
