It was easy to install and my kids were back to playing their Wii U in no time at all. My husband did it himself with a tiny screw driver on our kitchen table. Previously, our Wii U gamepad was acting up. You had to be within 2 feet of the hardware system in order to use the gamepad. it made it extremely difficult for anyone to play and was mostly just really annoying. After doing some research, my husband found that this card was likely the culprit. Every where else we called either said we had to replace the whole thing, or wanted to charge an arm and a leg to fix it. Thankfully, this WiFi card was much more economical and came straight to my door. It solved the problem and everyone is very happy now. Easy repair except for having to take out so many screws to get the body apart. If you want to keep the covers over the screw holes, you'll need something to cut out the glue around them to not damage them when taking it apart, and some glue afterwards to put them back on. I suggest a box cutter and Super glue.
