The fancy flavors are for the most part accurate. But they suck.You know what a Mexican dessert called a churro tastes like? That’s what the churro jerky tasted like. Definitely had a strong cinnamon flavor to it which was NOT good. But it was flavored as advertised.The hamburger flavor did strangely taste like ur eating a hamburger which seemed okay but then the idea of it started to weird me out so I didn’t finish it. Again, flavored as advertised.Memphis BBQ was okay. Very spicy. It had a strong smokey flavor to it. Like it was legitimately smoked. Started out okay but the smokey flavor became too strong after a couple pieces and I didn’t finish it.Adobo was decent and I finished the bag. A coworker of mine is Filipino and brought in chicken adobo a few times and I could taste a resemblance when eating this jerky.Original was definitely the best flavor and I also finished the bag. Original tasted like they used soy sauce maybe? It was decent but definitely the best of the bunch.On to the filet mignon meat used to make this jerky. Of the jerky I ate here, some had a standard jerky texture and some had a softer, filet mignon texture to it. The meat definitely wasn’t consistent. If the pieces that were more filet mignon like, the texture was great. It was softer than normal jerky, somewhat like Jack Links steak bites that you can find in any gas station. Some of the reviewers here are saying the texture is like soggy cardboard and that makes me think wtf? Yeah it’s softer because it’s filet mignon. If two and two can’t be put together then oh well, but the cardboard statement is completely inaccurate. I did get a few pieces overall that I should’ve photographed for this review but they were 75% fat instead of meat. I mean I reached in the bag and pulled out an off white colored piece of fat. Sick. I’m glad I looked at each piece instead of just throwing them in my mouth. This completely ends any claim of this being high end jerky.Overall, I will not be ordering this again. Reasons are the premium price does not reflect the inconsistent meat texture and occasional bite sized pieces of fat. The crazy flavors being gross as well. If I were to order again, it would be only the original flavor.
