Oven Interior: Paint White. Review: updated from a previous model - I had to learn how to microwave all over. But in a good way. The operations are different from the last model. I also found the instruction booklet so easy to use! Many tips and how too's that improve the whole microwaving process. The presets are not in your face, so you have to learn where to turn your dial. I have my go-to #'s and I am still learning the machine in that respect. But it is the same brand as I previously had, and I really like the Panasonic. It appears the last one failed because of a door seal. I don't know it that could have been repaired or not. I am not a repair type of person when I can buy a new one. If the machine is a couple few years old, I say its time to replace. It is good looking and works nicely. The sensor setting cooks a little hot, but that may be because of the cover I use to cook with. I try to stop it early, especially in reheating pizza. good machine, the last one was as well and they are consistent with the newer one. Good job Panasonic! Review: Works well as a retrofit built in with custom trim kit - This item is a replacement for an 18 year old Dacor unit that finally failed. The Dacor was built in above my oven, and had a stainless trim kit around it. The Panasonic unit is superior to the Dacor, and is really well priced. The device works quite well. The inverter technology is an improvement for defrosting. I am hopeful it will last many years. My main reason for reviewing has to do with the trim kit for a retrofit. I ordered the recommended kit through desertcart from Panasonic. It is a lovely kit, but works very poorly as a retrofit to my current cabinet. It is unfortunate, since the kit could have been designed with adjustable mounts. But it is not. So, after some internet searching, I came upon microtrim.com. They make custom fits for any unit. I ordered on a Monday, and the custom kit arrived in 5 working days. It is very easy to install, and works well. Looks just fine. It is not as nice looking as the kit from Panasonic, but at least it fits properly!! I have included a photo. ## Features - Power + innovation 1250 watts of high power with panasonic inverter technology for fast, even cooking and delicious results - Microwave controls 19 preset auto cook menu items, 15 inches turntable; Delay start and timer; more/less control; Child safety lock; Quick 30 sec and popcorn button with 3 cooking levels, clock: 12h - Minimum countertop footprint smart, compact design devotes less space to electronics and far more interior capacity. It works very well *by N***A on February 27, 2018* We have had this unit for over 30 days and love it. It works very well, has a very appealing look and is easy to use. Longer term I hope it hold up as some reviewers have stated issues. I will follow up if we have any concerns but so far this is a very nice machine. I purchased the frame installation kit and it looks great! We have a built in convection oven and the top was a built in microwave. When the unit broke we installed this microwave and it looks exactly like a built in should. Very pleased with this purchase, I know some questioned the knob but we like it, dial time hit start and it has worked well. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/30546410-panasonic-nn-sd945s](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/30546410-panasonic-nn-sd945s) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
