I originally got the halo swivel bassinet as a baby registry gift and at first my newborn wouldn’t even lay down in it hahah, but when I finally got this replacement mattress she completely changed. I also really liked it because unlike the original mattress it comes with, this one is extremely breathable and made me have much less anxiety about her during the night. I wish it just was a part of the original bassinet because to be honest once we got this one and could compare the thickness of the two mattresses, this one was always the obvious choice because the original probably felt like sleeping on a slab of marble it was so thin haha. The thickness of this one is so much better but not too much because I was worried she would sink into it and it would cause positional asphyxiation but no it’s just right and you don’t have to worry about that, even as my baby got bigger this mattress provided comfort but she never sank into it in a way that had me overly concerned. It was a total game changer and worth the price and upgrade.
