It may take a few minutes to get used to it if you've never tried one like this before but give it a chance and you will start to sink into it and get comfortable. I realized the only seat in the house that didn't hurt it, was the toilet seat. So I went on Amazon, and looked for a tailbone pillow, with the closest shape to a toilet seat and found this. It is perfect. I use it on my wheelchair and on folding chairs, and it is VERY comfortable. It is also easily transferable from chair to chair, as it is not huge and unwieldy. Great design, as it does not cut off my circulation, and is better shape than the tradition donut pillow.
