I've tried the beef sticks and they're decent, but i prefer whole chunks of meat that haven't been shredded and processed. These are not sticks but whole chunks of meat.The Jerky is dry, which is what I prefer. For some reason, I don't like soft and chewy jerky. When i think beef jerky, i think it should be completely dry. I think for me, if it has any bit of moisture in it, i worry about it molding or rotting. So naturally, I think jerky should be completely dry.These also have the best flavor of all the jerkies i've tried. I was wary about the peppered because it looks like they use red pepper flakes and i prefer the smaller black ground pepper, but it's great! It's not too spicy and has a good peppery flavor.If you want dry, flavorful, whole pieces of jerky, then this is the product for you. And like the other reviewer mentioned, I recommend these warily because then I worry they may be harder to find or more expensive. But this is a good product and I believe they deserve better reviews than what has been given. On the other hand, I guess they need some good reviews because if they don't sell enough products, they may go out of business which I don't want because it's damn good Jerky!EDIT: Also, because it is very dry, you get more strips of jerky. Those other brands which have soft, moist jerky get away with selling less beef because of the water that's still in the jerky. So this may be a bit more expensive but you end up getting more jerky and more beef for the 3.5 oz. Each package has about 40-50 strips of 1-2 inch chunks of real, non-processed beef.
