For porosity, most of my hair is low porosity, although the coarser bottom layer has some medium-porosity strands. Given that my hair has such great variation, it’s really hard to find products that work for my entire mane. This gel works GREAT for my hair! My best approach for styling has been leave-in conditioner plus lightweight curl cream plus gel that dries to a cast, which I then scrunch out once dry. This gel is wonderful for that. I still experience small amounts of halo frizz (practically unavoidable with my hair. Since the topmost layer is finer, the strands that grow straighter on top refuse to join curl families. If I attempt to finger-curl those baby flyaways they might stay together, but will be practically straight).
