Its unique tannic acid formula and sponge-like particles refresh carpet fibers while leaving no residue. Safe for people, pets, and the environment, it’s ideal for carpets, rugs, and soft furnishings, requiring just a 3-hour dwell time before vacuuming. Regular use every 90 days ensures sustained allergen reduction and a fresher home environment. ## Description This 2-in-1 anti-allergen carpet cleaning treatment reduces allergens from dust mite waste, pet dander and other sources while cleaning the surface. Its special formulation contains tannic acid to neutralize environmental allergens and non-abrasive, sponge-like particles which contain a water-based cleaning solution to refresh pile fabrics. For optimum treatment benefits use X-Mite® in conjunction with Allersearch® ADS™ or ADMS™. Treatment: Sprinkle X-Mite® evenly onto dry surface to be treated. Use a clean broom or a brush to work the powder into the surface. Allow X-Mite® to remain on carpeting for approximately three hours for optimum effectiveness. Vacuum treated surface with a new vacuum bag to ensure untreated allergens are not transferred to the just treated surface. Re-treat surfaces every 90 days* to maintain deactivation. * For severe allergen concentration, it may be necessary to apply X-Mite® more frequently Review: Fast delivery! - Really really prompt delivery Product seems to have worked so far. It was lumpy balls of powder rather than a fine dust or granules like say ‘shake n vac’ So some of my carpet was absolutely covered and other parts missed. I couldn’t spread it evenly at all. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/306009472-allersearch-x-mite-anti-allergen-moist-powder-carpet-cleaner](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/306009472-allersearch-x-mite-anti-allergen-moist-powder-carpet-cleaner) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
