But for the FJ Cruiser application, you will need to trim off 2 protruding brackets on both sides. **Q: Is the light guard hoop removable?** A: Yes. If you are referring to the hoop, installing it is optional. **Q: is this compatible with the ARB under body armor?** A: Yes it is, I have the ARB skid plate system. To fill in the gap I also installed the Tyger Skid Plate part number TG-SP6T80668, it's only $99 but make a huge difference.
