After all, I am retired with much more free time than they have with their jobs and children and it would be a fun Christmas present. One of the ingredients in the dressing is dried blue cheese powder which would otherwise be very problematic to put into individual, small plastic envelopes but the larger scoop funnel was perfect for the job. A slender funnel would never work as well, if at all. I did cut the funnel off of the scoop part so that I could guide the powder through the funnel with a plastic knife into the plastic envelope but it can still be set back onto the scoop if that configuration would be beneficial for some other project.
