House training your puppy can prove to be a strain on both owner, puppy and of course the carpet! The plastic NUGI Indoor Dog Litter and Pads are a unique solution, that provide a neat and efficient answer to your dog's indoor toilet needs. With NUGI you can say goodbye to messy paws, urine smells and mountains of wet newspaper or pee pads and hello to a cleaner home and environment. The ingenious design of the NUGI Tray includes rubber feet to prevent any slipping, a grate that locks securely into place ensuring your dog will benefit from dry paws, but remain unable to get at the urine pad to rip it up or chew on. Poop can settle on the grate and be removed at your convenience. The Tray comes equipped with a free Pee Pad to absorb the urine. Rather than needing to be disposed of, simply rinse clean and stick to a wall to dry before reusing over 50 times! A minimal percentage of urine is left on the pad which encourages your pet to return and reuse the Nugi Tray. We are sure you’ll agree there is no more practical a solution than this. The Tray is 18.5 x 21.5 x 1.6"inch (47.5 x 54.5 x 3.5cm). HOW TO USE: 1. Place NUGI PLUS on the floor where the puppy is kept. 2. When your puppy makes bowel movement, pick up or shake tray frame over toilet. 3. After your puppy urinates, place pee pad on flat surface, immerse in water and drain over toilet, repeat 3-4 times. 4. Separate pad from NUGI toilet and place against tub wall or let stand to dry 5. Replace pad on NUGI toilet after 3-5 minutes. Ready to use. Extend use by keeping some moisture in the pad. ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS: 1. Replace the new pad every 50-60 days. It depends on how often your puppy uses the pad and how often you clean it. 2. Don't tear PEE PAD out. Just use it as it is. 3. Don't use strong detergent when you wash the PEE PAD. Ignore a little bit of pee smell, it attracts your dog to come to use NUGI-PLUS. 4. Keep out of the heat.

Review: A stellar product! Highly, highly recommend. - This is working BEAUTIFULLY for us!!! I love it so much! You can put newspaper inside, or washable pee pads (or even nothing at all...I put the EZ Whelp small pads in there -- they fit PERFECTLY). I highly recommend, if you want to use this, that you train your dog using the confinement method. It's SO much easier than having to supervise them constantly. (Briefly: the confinement method starts them out inside a pen with JUST enough room for food and water, potty tray, and bed. They are only allowed outside the pen with strict supervision -- eyes OR hands on the dog at all times. If that's not possible, then they stay in the pen.) After three to four weeks of no accidents outside the pen, enlarge the space slightly. You can google this method online and read more about it, but it's working wonderfully for our puppy and we've only had a few accidents over a three week time period -- as opposed to accidents every single day, as is common with some of the other training methods.) I very highly recommend this product. It's super easy to rinse. Even when puppy has poo'd and stomped it into the grate, it rinses off very easily (sometimes I use the toilet brush to help). **Q: Do you sell the pads separately?**
A: We don't currently, but we plan to sell the replacement pee pads in the very near future.  We have ordered the replacement pads from the manufacturer and can let you know when we begin selling them separately.

**Q: Is the pad insert sold separately?**
A: The pad insert is included.

**Q: can this be used for a litter mat as a cat leaves the litterbox**
A: Yes! Great idea! It has a grid top, so it would catch the litter and it would fall into the tray!

**Q: Can disposable pee pads work in this? I have a ton of them, but need to find a way to use them up so my dog wont be able to get at them.**
A: Yes, I buy disposable training pee pads and put them under the net so my dog's feet don't get wet and he doesn't chew at it as well. I ended up not using the resuable pee pad at all. This product is great!!
