Unfortunately, by the time it got to me the original remote was lost. If I wanted to change the input I had to walk over to the TV and try to do it manually by pushing the tiny microscopically labeled buttons on the side while trying to watch the onscreen menu - and it needed to happen in a specific order. One wrong push and you had to start over. Universal remotes weren't up to the task. Fed up with the situation, I google searched for the remote and found it here. I can now change channels and inputs from my chair on the other side of the room. He has a hard time pushing the red on/off button, because it is just way too small and you really need to push hard and push it for about 5 seconds before it turns on/off. My elderly ended up just leaving the TV on all night, because he can't seem to push that red "off" button. So it's not working out. But I have say that the remote control does work from get-go.
