I currently am using this with my Sony Xperia 1 III, though it took a lot of planning and setup to get it on my case correctly. Because the packaging only includes templates for recent iPhones and Galaxy phones, you're on your own when it comes to any other Qi phone. How I installed this on my phone case was before removing the protective cover on the sticky part, I put the ring on a Qi charging pad making sure not to cover the charging area, placed my phone case on top of that with painters tape to stick the ring onto the case, then placed my phone down to where it would charge. You'd need to leave it there to charge a bit to make sure the charging pad doesn't run into any errors. Afterwards, I would remove the phone, and the case, but the ring would be stuck on the case where it needs to be. Then before taking the protective sheet off the ring is affix the ring to the case and test it a few more times to make sure it's in the correct position before finally sticking it to the case. If you do run into an issue, I found it's still possible to reposition the ring 1 to 2 times before the adhesive starts to get too dirty and loses its stickiness. To remove it, don't pull it off the case. I found removing the case and rolling the ring off works the best. Overall it's been working as expected. The metal is magnetic enough that the Pop Socket sticks to it really well and is actually tough to get off compared to my case with a ring built in. My only negative is they won't stick to the back glass of my Pixel 8 Pro.
