A: Made in Japan.

**Q: Can i cook rice in it?**
A: We haven't tried it but are pretty certain you can cook rice in it; in Japan, some use it to cook rice; good luck.  We do like it for nabe!

**Q: Does this pot & lid contain lead ?  Please test results or documentation.  Thank you.**
A: Not sure about the lead but our came in a hundred pieces.

**Q: Can this donabe be used to make Indian style curry?**
A: Yes, I have primarily cooked sabzi (Indian curry) in it this past year. Comes out good.
