## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the pole insert into the cover somewhere?**
A: Yes, the cover has a pocket in which the pole goes into. Once inserted, you are able to easily take the cover on and off.
I am personally very happy with it.

**Q: Can this garden balsam patio umbrella cover for 9ft to 11ft cover a 10ft square umbrella?**
A: It should easily. We have a 9ft offset and when the umbrella is closed it has a generous amount of space. Also the quality is amazing! We love it!

**Q: How do you connect the pole to the zipper?**
A: I'm not sure what the question is? What I do when I want to put the cover on is I insert the pole into one corner of the bag. I then lift the fully opened bag over the top of the umbrella with the pole and work the cover onto the umbrella. Once the cover is on the umbrella on the top, I pull on the cover to "fully seat it" on the umbrella and finally pull the zipper down.

Hope this helps.

**Q: What is the quality of the fabric? Does it have a Denier rating?**
A: If this polyester material has a Denier rating, that information has not been provided by the seller. I can tell you that it (subjectively) feels quite heavy, not at all like "lightweight" polyester as used in clothing, etc.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made, attractive, waterproof
*by M***S on 19 December 2022*

Final revision: These were purchased December 2022 and have done a great job until now, July 2025. The covers have perished and the tops of our umbrellas are poking through. Maybe 2.5 years of Melbourne weather is about all we could expect. I am revising my earlier review (below) as despite my initial misgivings the cover has proved to be waterproof, phew. I won't know about the durability / longevity of the fabric for at least a year, so I'm giving the item five stars for now. Only two stars so far as I'm not sure whether the fabric will prove to be "water resistant" (listing title) or "waterproof" (about this item / 6th listing photo). See photos: the second photo shows the inside of the fabric, which feels lighter than I expected and doesn't scream "waterproof" to me. Time and a strong downpour will tell. As you can see, the cover fits beautifully - I'd thought it might be a bit long but happily it's not - and it appears to be very well made. If the cover proves to be waterproof then I'll revise my review and give it five stars.
