Review: great lego build but not worth the price desertcart wants for it - I'm a big lego fan along with being a retro car fan so when I saw this I had to have it. The build was fun and pretty easy to some of the other lego sets iv done. But this is mostly a display model for adults and not really for kids unless they to like display models. My issue was the price because lego.com sells it for 100 but desertcart makes people pay 160 or above which I say isn't worth it unless u want it asap. But hey, it looks good with my other builds and not sure there are plenty of youtube videos showing it off
Review: Great Build & Value - I am relatively new to the Lego family (although my older son has been building sets for years and was a big influence on me to start building)...In my youth (68 yrs. old) I would spend hours upon hours of building, painting, etc. plastic models of all kinds of things...but cars models were my favorite..believing I am still good with my hands, so it seems that I would start with a medium size build (1,167 parts)... What a blast! it definitely brought me back to my youth...the attention to detail is remarkable...it was an approximately a 9 hour build (quarantined and doing it like a puzzle - passing it and doing a small section at a time)...the build difficulty was on a 3 level...I have ordered the light package (through Brick Tool) and can't wait until it comes to put a finishing touch on this build... Needless to say, I hooked and already on the "slippery slope" of Legos...no surprise here...I have 3 additional "big" builds on the way...

**Q: Is this the same scale as the lego vw camper?  anyone have side by side pics?!**
A: Hey the measures of the Beelte are 5” (15cm) high, 11” (29cm) long and 4” (12cm) wide whereas the Camper Van is 11.8 inches (30cm) long and 5.5 inches (14cm) high. They are more or less the same scale, yes :)

**Q: Is this model scaled for minifigs or they look they look small in it?**
A: Assuming it's a similar scale to the camper van (which I believe it is), it is not at all scaled for minifigures.

**Q: Is it paintable?**

I'm a big lego fan along with being a retro car fan so when I saw this I had to have it. The build was fun and pretty easy to some of the other lego sets iv done. But this is mostly a display model for adults and not really for kids unless they to like display models. My issue was the price because lego.com sells it for 100 but Amazon makes people pay 160 or above which I say isn't worth it unless u want it asap. But hey, it looks good with my other builds and not sure there are plenty of youtube videos showing it off
