So plastic. Make sure you fill your divots if you're worried about the earth, this ball won't save the environment for you. **Q: Made in the USA???** A: On the box it says that they are made in China. I've played with pretty much every ball out there....from ProV1s and all the Bridgestones. I find these .41 cent balls to fly as straight and have less spin....resulting in greater roll-out. They are $5.00 for a box of 12 at Walmart and just may be the best kept secret when it comes to balls for amateurs. They don't sound like hitting a rock at contact but are not as workable as the high-end balls. I had a friend in NC try them last week and he was surprised at how straight they flew too. I putt with them and they don't have that "hard" feel when making contact. I have been very impressed with the distance, accuracy, and durability. I am an intermediate level golfer who hovers around 100. Low handicap golfers may need a different ball, but this ball does everything I want & the color really helps quickly sort whose ball is where on the course. Some golfers might want a softer ball for the chip shots as this ball seems on the hard side and it does spring off the club face with a lot of energy (making it a great distance ball for modest swing speed golfers). At the price for a 15 pack, this is a great value (I don’t feel bad when I lose one unlike those paying over $3 per ball).
