## Description

For 45 years, Mongoose has been in the dirt, down the trails, and on the ramps. With the Legion Series, Mongoose offers a full line of freestyle BMX bikes for riders of all ages and ability levels. The Legion L80 was designed to be a fully park, street and dirt worthy BMX bike. The Legion L80 frame features a professional-grade 4130 chromoly front triangle (20.75” top tube), removable brake mounts, mid BB shell, and removable break mounts. The L80 Hi-Ten steel 9” rise handlebar and 50mm stem are designed for precision riding, while the wide aluminum single wall 36H rims and 2.3” BMX tires offer grip and durability when landing a trick. The 25x9T gearing with 3-piece tubular chromoly 175 mm hollow spindle cranks and mid sealed bottom bracket offer a clean, reliable drivetrains. An aluminum U-brake with aluminum brake levers provide speed control, while the Hi-Ten steel BMX fork with 1-1/8" threadless steerer and taper leg helps maximize performance. This bike ships ready to be assembled and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on the frame and a 1-year limited warranty on parts.

**Q: Is there a way to adjust the distance of the handbrake lever to the handle bar? My sons hands can clasp it safely and the screw on the side doesnt do**
A: There is a reach adjustment screw which is a small phillips screw. That'll move that lever closer and further away from the handelbar. Thanks.

**Q: It says this typically ships within 1 to 2 months. How soon should I expect this item to actually ship and will it really take up to 2 months?**
A: I ordered when it was in stock showed up within 3 days.  It could take the whole 2 months, as shipping sucks lately and also the 18" bike has been backordered in multiple brands for a while now.

**Q: Can u put a bigger seat on it so it’s easier to sit and pedal?**
A: I would say so.  It’s a skinny seat for tricks my grandson said.  He’s 9.  Lol

This bike is lacking. About what you would expect from walmart bikes. Wheels wobble. Some reason back tire will not stop moving. Had to readjust and tighten twice already in a few miles. Its geared way to low for anything other than quick burst at the bike park or skate parks. Its almost impossible to pedal if you are off pavement. If you are looking to buy a bike to ride for a kid or an adult this isn't what you want unless you plan on swapping gears. Like a bigger sprocket may be the best and cheapest route. Pretty disappointed
