It is perfect for small areas: such as chrome, or alloy wheels; mirrors, and windows. Makes cleaning the wheels so easy; with or without water. Also great: dampen cloth for a quick exterior wipedown; to get rid of pollen, tiny dust particles, or lint The larger plush micro towels are good for overall drying; however they do have a tendancy of dragging. The weave on this 3m cloth is tighter; this is why it will catch all tiny particles in one swipe...love them. Also great for finish drying...After rinsing the car, do one pass with a large towel; thereafter take this cloth, and finish the job. It gets rid of the remainding water; plus removes all streaks, water marks, finger prints; and it will give your car a mirror finish; but only if you have previously applied a super durable synthetic wax. 3m makes a lot of them. Gonna stock up on these super clothes though.

**Q: Hi, can you use these in the 3m perfect-it scratch removel system?**

**Q: The size of the cloth listed with the picture above is 12" x 14". the tech details list the size as 8.5 x 7.4 x 0.8. which size is it?**
A: I just bought 6 of them (product #39016) two months ago. All of the unopened ones I have state the size as ‘12.5”x14”,’ and are that size. I’m not sure if they are making them slightly smaller now, or if that’s an old pic, and they’re making them slightly larger. Either way, they are 12.X”x14”.

I was expecting these to be something special but I can't tell much of a difference between these and the bulk bag of no-name microfiber cloths that I got at Costco a while ago. Perhaps they don't lint as much out of the bag, but pre-washing my other cloths helped with that a lot.
