Designed for collectors aged 14 and up, it features an open turret for battlefield authenticity and requires no assembly or batteries. This compact, metal model embodies the speed and reconnaissance legacy of the 14th Armoured Division’s iconic vehicle, making it a must-have for military history enthusiasts and scale model aficionados. ## Description Originally conceived as a fast and mobile tank killer, the M8 Greyhound armoured car was not built to withstand the punishment it would receive at the hands of Germany’s main battle tanks and was therefore used more for reconnaissance patrols and armoured escort duties. Open turret variants of the Greyhound afforded their commander’s an exceptional view of the battlefield, although this feature was understandably less popular during poor weather conditions. Amazingly, one M8 is reported to have destroyed a mighty German King Tiger in December 1944, sneaking up behind it and firing three rounds into its engine before the Tiger’s turret could traverse round. Review: Amazing vehicle - It has a very nice build quality. The body is metal and chassis is plastic. However, the turret moves and even the gun. The wheels roll good. Overall its a nice collectors piece. ## Features - Military Legends in Miniature - 77mm Length - quality die-cast model - Ideal gift for collectors - Age Suitability 3+ ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07P6RQCSW | | Additional Features | Open Revolver Wind Dog Variations | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Batteries are Included | No | | Battery Description | No batteries | | Best Sellers Rank | #278,494 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) | | Brand Name | Corgi | | Color | Multi Colour | | Customer Package Type | Not FFP Certified | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 56 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Educate about Post-World War II military history and technology | | Included Components | Diecast Model | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 15.2 x 15.2 x 7.6 centimeters | | Item Type Name | Model | | Item Weight | 0.25 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Corgi | | Manufacturer Part Number | CS90640 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year Limited Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 years and up | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Name | M8 Windhund | | Model Number | CS90640 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Friction | | Power Source | Wind Powered | | Scale | 1:72 Scale | | Set Name | Military Legends in Miniature | | Size | Einheitsgröße | | Sub Brand | Military Legends | | Subject Character | Military Legends Miniature | | Theme | Military | | Toy Vehicle Form | Armored Fighting Vehicle | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Corgi MiM - M8 Greyhound - 14th Armoured Division - N-W Europe - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811HiL6y2wL.jpg) ![Corgi MiM - M8 Greyhound - 14th Armoured Division - N-W Europe - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/510W3zi1+wL.jpg) ![Corgi MiM - M8 Greyhound - 14th Armoured Division - N-W Europe - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rOPOeF0tL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Article neuf ? *by M***E on 13 May 2026* Les photos parlent d'elles mêmes... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing vehicle *by H***I on 8 October 2024* It has a very nice build quality.
