Review: An element of personal preference but I consider these an upgrade - The stock SF1000 paddles are a VERY solid piece of kit - giving a chunky clunk every time you press them. Some may prefer this to the lighter, more "traditional" click these T-Chrono paddles provide. I chose to upgrade because my stock paddles had started to miss shifts because the factory foam pads on the magnets behind the paddles which were there to... kinda, sorta... make them quieter had slipped and started getting in the way of the paddles operating. Not ideal, but removing them seemed to fix the issue at the expense of making them even louder. So I gave these a shot. There are no magnets on these shifter paddles, just a metal push/pull rocker which presses a plastic button on each side. You can still shift in either direction with both hands, but the overall feel is very different. There's still a definitive click to the action on them, but much less of a bump - it's a smoother feel. Theoretically I guess this would allow you slightly faster shifts, but I think it's negligible and the real value here is in how quiet they are in comparison. In some ways it's surprising to me that they went with the magnetic shifters as stock vs these as the construction on the T-Chronos seems simpler / cheaper - but if you're looking for a quieter / smoother shifting experience they're well worth a try.

**Q: Is price of $874 reflective of what the u.s. market price will be or is this supply and demand/covid markup?**
A: Hi Brian, The MRSP for this add on wheel is $349.99.

**Q: Why the price increase almost two times than original?**
A: Due to the lack of customer service by thrustmaster, no news about restock dates, and the shortage of parts. Has created supply and demand issues. Thus people are jacking up the price.

**Q: Does this work with Thrustmaster T80?**
A: Hello,
Please note that the Ferrari SF 1000 add-on steering wheel must be connected to a compatible base with a quick release, so it will not be possible to use it with a T80 base whose steering wheel is not detachable.
You need to use a base like the T300 or T-GT II to use the SF 1000 wheel, these are available from the following links:

The stock SF1000 paddles are a VERY solid piece of kit - giving a chunky clunk every time you press them. Some may prefer this to the lighter, more "traditional" click these T-Chrono paddles provide. I chose to upgrade because my stock paddles had started to miss shifts because the factory foam pads on the magnets behind the paddles which were there to... kinda, sorta... make them quieter had slipped and started getting in the way of the paddles operating. Not ideal, but removing them seemed to fix the issue at the expense of making them even louder. So I gave these a shot. There are no magnets on these shifter paddles, just a metal push/pull rocker which presses a plastic button on each side.
