I prefer maintaining my own cart, but every month for forty years, I've dreaded the filling of the battery cells... I use distilled water, and no 'Auto Shut-Off Jug' ever made the job less detestable. When filled, the jugs were heavy, cumbersome, and slower than slow to dispense the water; mine gave no visibility of the water flow nor the level of water in the cell; nor any detectable sign when finished filling; neither did it show a good indicator of the amount of water remaining in the jug! Half the time they just didn't work!! Frustrated, I finally resorted to using a 16-oz. plastic water bottle, filled (spilled) from a heavy gallon of distilled water, re-filled innumerable times in order to do all thirty-six cells. So time consuming!! My impatient hubby had long ago begun using our 'hard' well water, with a garden hose, to fill his cart's batteries, but admitted it was not the best practice for the longevity of his batteries!
