This year has been perfect early season weather for tomato, pole bean, and eggplant growing. These trellises have held up under heavy loads, and never torn. They have survived hot sun, heavy rains, and heavy winds. They have even survived the pecking attacks from our flock of chickens. It is close enough to hold but not prohibit growth. **Q: Does this trellis net shed fibers, especially when being cut for harvest? The holes in the netting were too large for my cucumbers. *by D***D on July 15, 2026* The netting is very well made and was easy to set up to my trellises. Unfortunately the holes in netting were too large for my cucumber plants which grew right through them. I got the white netting which to my surprise seemed to attract birds to my garden so I had to put up reflective tape which worked well to keep the birds away. In the end the netting with the large holes did not work well for me and my cucumbers so I removed it.
