I didn’t realize it arrived earlier than expected. I was totally thrilled when it arrived. And more surprising was that it is die-cast. The elaborateness of the design is satisfactory, despite the failure to satisfy the size of the giant robot. My five year old son really likes it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very nice but not perfect offering. *by R***Y on August 28, 2016* I hate to say this, but I can't get past the meh factor on this guy. It's a well made nicely sculpted, extremely well articulated Chogokin. It just lacks something compared to many others in the line.Pros;- great articulation- the backpack with working folding cannon is amazing- the accessory missile parts are great- the arms use the same crossover connectors as other figures such as the Mazingers. So the Mazinger effects parts work with GR.Cons;- The finish is really really disappointing. The entire outer skin is unpainted slightly pearlescent and swirly light blue plastic. The figure should be more of a solid Military/Navy glossy blue gray. The unpainted plastic skin cheapens the look and feel of the figure.- the only visible die cast is the small red rings on the wrists and legs. The robot has some weight, so clearly there is more die cast inside. You just don't know where.- while they included the option parts for the shoulder missiles, they skipped the belly hatches and their weapons.Overall it's a great figure. Just one of the more middle of the pack Super Robot Chogikin offerings. It lacks that over the top awesome in every way feel of some of the others. It's more of a blue collar working stiff of a robot and figure. A nice figure. A distinct figure.
