I found a couple times that my hair was left with a residue. To avoid the post-wash "waxiness" I discovered I have to 1) make sure I lather it up really well and 2) really make sure it is all rinsed well. When I do both those things, this product works fantastically. Not sure of the science behind my findings, but this is what I found.
