They don't stay on well, and they tend to crack at the bottom. Go the hardware store and get 3/8-inch screw protectors. They are made of rubber and stay on tight. **Q: Can you see through these bottles? are they clear?** A: They are not clear but opaque. If you put your finger against the inside you can see the fingers and colors but if the finger is in the middle of the bottle it looks really fuzzy and soft.
