I had found a good replacement in Mally's Waterproof Mascara then, apparently, it's been discontinued because it is no longer available on QVC or the Mally website. I read the reviews about the Katy Kat mascara and gave it a try. I really like the wearability of the mascara. It doesn't flake or run if your eyes tear. However, the brush is an unusual shape. There is a ball shape at the tip which helps get the eyelashes in the corner of your eyes and the lower lashes. The are a couple of rows of bristles that taper from short to longer and seem to twist around the wand. This is what takes some time to get accustomed to using. Be sure to wipe excess mascara onto the lip of the tube or these twisted bristles can leave clumps on your lashed. If you do get clumps, they seem to brush out fairly easily with the wand or an eyelash brush. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Why ask why? No flaking, smudging or fading throughout the day and into the night++. Tube lasts a lot longer than other brands by far. The waterproof formula is THE best whereas the water resistant formula irritates my eyes. They constantly water and feel gritty until I've completely washed from my lashes. When 1st opening a new bottle, wand packed with formula- just touch wand gently to lashes instead of combing through top lashes, same technique on bottom lashes instead of applying using back and forth motion with wand. Sometimes 2 packs can be found for some price as single packaged product.
